Early Life & Education
Raised in New Jersey as the youngest of four in a blended family, Thomas learned discipline, adaptability, and work ethic early in life. His first entrepreneurial lessons came not from a boardroom but from the Bozo Drop on the Seaside Heights boardwalk—an unconventional but defining experience that sharpened his communication, negotiation, and people skills under pressure.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Concordia College and his MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He studied at Harvard Business School, further expanding his foundation in strategy, analytics, and leadership.
A lifelong learner, he continues to invest in advanced executive education and private mentorship, including ongoing development with success mentor Darren Hardy.
Professional Journey
Thomas began his career at Petrocelli Electric, a New York City–based electrical contracting firm, where he rose from Assistant Sales Associate to a top-performing Account Manager within two years.
In 1995, he joined Allcom Electric as Sales and Marketing Manager—doubling revenue in his first year and earning partnership. Under his leadership, Allcom scaled to $23 million in annual revenue before an 8-figure exit to a publicly traded company.
Following the acquisition, Thomas was retained as President of the New York City Division, where he led enterprise operations, and large-scale project delivery, which included the integration of 3 other acquisitions.
A serial entrepreneur, Thomas later founded TP Builders which lead to the addition of SportProsUSA has grown into a leading sports-construction company serving commercial, and residential markets. Under his direction, the company expanded into a national sports-event division serving Fortune 500 companies, professional sports teams, and the TV/film industry.
Today, he continues to serve as President, operating at the intersection of business development, operations, and strategic leadership.
Industry Leadership & Service
Thomas serves on three construction-industry boards and is the Chairman of the Builders Association of Northern New Jersey. He is also an active member of key committees within ACBNJ and the NJBA.
His commitment to community runs deep. In 1996, he co-founded the Knights of York, an organization of professional leaders that has raised and distributed more than $750,000 to children’s charities throughout the New York metropolitan area. He’s calm, kind, and fully present, and he won’t let you coast. He pushed everyone in our cohort to step up, bring our best, and actually put the learning into action.
